Our Ultra-Light valve oil is thinner than the standard weight and is perfect for instruments with very tight pistons or rotors that would feel sluggish with the standard weight. We especially recommend this version for brand-new instruments, Schilke, Yamaha, CarolBrass, Monette, and Getzen and for the axial flow rotors of many trombones. It is also best for rotary valve trumpets and makes a great rotor oil on French horns.
